One of La Societa’ Italiana, Inc. founding principles when it was founded in September of 1986 was the support of a worthy charitable organization within our community. Over the years the Society has supported a number of charitable organizations including Special Olympics Georgia, Atlanta's Festival of Trees, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home. This past year the Society has provided volunteers for the Special Olympics Georgia bocce competition and conducted a fundraiser to benefit Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home.
